Our Mission

TCA's mission is to use the Centre to engage the local community of all ages in imaginative and socially inclusive projects.

We want to:

Continue to provide a community hub for digital music, video, multi-media, visual and performing arts projects

Develop an extensive range of culturally diverse community and arts activities for all ages, backgrounds and abilities
Contribute to regeneration, by supporting local initiatives and prioritising resources for education and training
Promote access and sustainability awareness in all areas of our activities
Form links with other agencies and organisations in these areas

TCA aims and policies

Trinity Community Arts Ltd (TCA): TCA is a community association formed to manage the Trinity Centre in Lawrence Hill Bristol.
Our Aims: TCA aims to work with the people from Lawrence Hill, Easton, Ashley and the wider Bristol community to deliver imaginative and socially inclusive projects.
Environmental & Ethical Policy: We are committed to running the centre with high environmental and ethical standards.

Partners & Funders

TCA is supported by several partnership organisations and has received funding for specific projects

Quartet Foundation: Quartet Community Foundation is the new name for the Greater Bristol Foundation, a long established and successful charity.

Quartet has awarded several grants to TCA community activity, including a grant in 2007 to redevelop our website.
Bristol Objective 2: Promoting economic regeneration and improved quality of life in the South West.

Funding was received to help improve access to the Centre, including the installation of a lift, training rooms and upstairs utilities.
Bristol Wireless: A volunteer run co-operative committed to social improvement through the building of a wireless computer network.
Eastside Roots: Community garden group Eastside Roots run projects from the Trinity Gardens
Meme Music: Meme Music is an independent music agency focused on developing new talent and event production and promotion

Muse Music work with promoters to stage many of the live commercial events here at Trinity.

Heritage Lottery: The body which distributes a share of the income from the National Lottery to projects aimed at preserving and making accessible the nation's heritage.

TCA received funding through Heritage Lottery Fund Young Roots programme to run a series of workshops in 2008 based on the history of the Trinity Centre.
Awards for All: Lottery grants scheme for local communities

TCA received a £10,000 grant from Awards for All in Spring 2008 for the Trinity Time Credits project
First Light Movies: First Light Movies funds and inspires young people, throughout the UK, to make films reflecting the diversity of their lives

TCA was awarded a grant of £2,969 from First Light Movies "What's the Big Idea" programme in May 2008 to run a collaborative script-writing project with young people from Bristol and Leicestershire
