Performing Arts
The course will give you a grounding in acting that will allow you to go onto to drama school or further education acting training
Our performing arts sessions are run by Nick Young and Dave Lovatt.
Nick has acted and directed in performances across the city including our successful At Tether's End show in December 2008.
Dave has taught hundreds of adults and young people how to act - if you have a desire to act, he will give the confidence and techniques to go further with your ambitions.

Workshops training participants in a wide range of disciplines including:
- acting
- movement
- voice
- improvisation
Ideal for everyone with an interest in performing to a live audience regardless of experience or ability.
If you are a budding actor wishing to develop your existing skills or someone just wishing to explore their hidden clown then pop in and have a go.
Please wear loose comfortable clothing that you can move freely in.
About your tutor
Nick Young has worked a theatre maker in Bristol for the past 4 years. Has has acted in and directed a number of critically acclaimed performances including the sell out success At Tether's End. Reviewing the performance Steve Wright from Venue Magazine said: "There is something uniquely thrilling about this experience".
