Bristol Samba band have always been a community organisation and welcomes new members from any background and irrespective of musical experience.

Spring Organic Gardening Course
Thursdays, 10am - 12.30pm

Get set up to eat from your garden all year

This 10 week course will focus on seasonal tasks and skills

Stuff the credit crunch, eat fresh organic food all year found

Learn to grow fruit, veg & herbs at the Eastside Roots Garden at Trinity Arts Centre. Get fit, work outside, meet people, and gain knowledge and practical experience.

The sessions will be a mix of ideas and hands-on work in the thriving community garden. We have a poly-tunnel, compost loo, lots of fruit trees and a friendly bunch of volunteers.

 

We will cover:

  • Growing fruit and veg

  • Planning your season

  • Working with limited space – stacking it up

  • Growing in containers

  • Building fertility – compost, wormeries, green manures

  • Making a garden for medicinal and culinary herbs

  • Fruit bush and tree pruning

  • Making a wildflower meadow

  • Avoiding pest and disease problems

Bike Workshop
Thursdays, 2pm-4pm

If you need someone to help you fix your bike or would like advise on bike related matters

then come along to Trinity

Thursdays from 2-4pm

Computer Class
Thursdays, 4pm- 6pm

Bristol Refugee Rights are running a free Computer Course here at Trinity every Thursday afternoon

Tutor Robel will be teaching basic IT skills such as;

- setting up email accounts

- word processing

- using the web

- office skills
