Legendary music venue - Come and be part of the legend and host your artists in once of the most iconic spaces and prominent venues in the South West
The Trinity Centre has hosted major musical events for over two decades and is recognised as the birthplace of 'the Bristol Sound'. Originally covenanted to the African-Caribbean Community Association in the late 1970s, the Trinity Centre has for three decades been a multicultural community venue with a strong music, hosting cutting-edge shows - from local legends Massive Attack to international artists Public Enemy.
“There is a fantastic large stage at one end of the large main auditorium, and if you are to attend a concert promoted by people who take a bit of time to provide good lighting, sound and decoration, there are few finer places to see your favourite bands” - Rossanne Hamilton, Qype (Dec 2007)
As many of Britain's key music venues are being swallowed up by large organisations, the Trinity Centre remains one of the last independent music venues in the UK, programming a calendar of music that is both affordable and relevant to the local and wider communities of Bristol.

The Venue
Just minutes walk from the city centre, Trinity has been a staple part of Bristol's live music scene since the early 1980s. Based in a converted late-Georgian church, we provide an unique setting for late night live musical escapades. Our generous sized dance floor allows revellers space to move to the sounds produced from our inhouse sound system, which packs one hell of a punch, especially the bass which pleasantly reverberates about your being. Our grassroots, community focused vibe attracts an eclectic crowd of different ages from across the city and beyond.
"Trinity is definitely what going out in Bristol is all about: friendly, a little bit alternative, with lots of people from different backgrounds getting together and having a good time" - Lucy Duggan, View Bristol, October 2008
The Music
The live gigs and dance nights are as varied as the crowd that comes here. From fluro-face paints, stilts and psychedelic trance to a Roni Size drum and bass reunion, Icelandic sensation Emiliana Torrini on tour to some cult electro-pop icons the Gorillaz. There’s always some new and unpredictable event round the corner, which keeps the appeal of The Trinity broad and fresh.
