REACH: Still I Rise
'Entitled REACH: Still I Rise, it is an exploration of the barriers we each face throughout our lives. It focuses on the trials and tribulations of the dancers themselves and invites them and the audience to share their inner battles, fears and insecurities and subsequent triumphs and disappointments. A powerful and thought provoking theme, it promises to portray the honest experience of the students and other worldwide issues.
This high quality performance involves the whole company. Not only do the students perform but they play an instrumental role in the behind the scene organisation, such as designing posters and programmes, making costumes, collecting raffle prizes and raising money to pay for all of this. They’re also an integral part of the creative process, working as soloists, within small groups and entire company collaborations.'
